Okay, I’ll try this blog thing again.
First bit of bloggy news: I will be attending Lightbox Expo this year in Pasadena! It’ll be my first time attending this event, so I’m really looking forward to it. Hopefully, I’ll get the chance to meet some fellow Animation Mentor animators and industry recruiters.

Speaking of Animation Mentor, back in June, I decided to return to "school" after spending the last 10 years as a motion designer in advertising. I felt it was necessary because I had spent so many years away from character animation that I needed to build up not only my portfolio but my artistic confidence as well. I just completed the first course, Animation Basics with Robyne Powell, and I had a great time learning from her.

Well, that’s all the news I have for today, but stay tuned! I hope to add some new features to this site in the future. What features, you ask? Oh, I don’t know... you’ll just have to come back and check out later!
